Eva Sviridova

Hi, I’m Eva—a multidisciplinary designer, artist and creative producer exploring how technology can expand human creativity.

About me ↗

Proposed Research for MIT Media Lab

How can we make the process of creating clothing accessible to any creative person?

My question: how can creative tools make the path from a visual idea to a physical garment easier to understand—and keep the maker in control?

I approach this through two proposed studies: open pattern-making tools for different bodies, and an accessible interface connecting visual ideas to knitted samples. Both grow from my work in factories, digital fashion and education.

01

From Body to Pattern

An open, editable pattern system that exposes construction assumptions and connects digital previews with sewn samples.

02

From Idea to Machine-Knit Garment

An interface for exploring visual motifs through machine constraints and physical knitted samples.
